Packaging company goes green

Last week, Connecticut-based Curtis Packaging announced it would purchase renewable energy to power its company, bringing the packaging industry one step closer to sustainability. Curtis is one of the first printing and packaging companies in the US to use 100 per cent renewable energy and to be certified by the Forest Stewardship Council for the use of paperboard generated by suppliers who practice responsible forestry.
