[ West Virginia ] In addition to the ups and downs of wood and related markets, those in the industry must contend with a number of other challenges. Some of the most difficult in West Virginia are environmental issues. Dave Saville, administrator of the West Virginia Highlands Conservancy, believes there is a lot of room for progress. His organization believes the state needs environmental protection laws that are enforceable.
